We have been saving up for longer than we could handle. Lizzie has saved all summer and waited over a month since her birthday for the new models to come out. Finally our Macbook nite has arrived! We’ll be writing about these for some time to come. So far, I have to say that I’m very pleased with these machines and how they come through the initial set up procedures. We were video iChatting within about 15 minutes from unpacking these babies. Liz has already done her first WebShow and is working on a blog entry right now.
I’m so proud of Liz for saving up so much so diligently. I believe she’ll take very good care of her new laptop and we’re expecting to see it used for productive, creative pursuits.
I’ll be in Kansas City tomorrow night, and we’ll be able to video chat to keep in touch. I’m looking forward to using my laptop for some artistic endeavors as well.

I’m glad you are enjoying your Macbooks. You both have been very good and patient about saving for them. Can’t wait to see them. Be sure to bring them over when you come on your birthday. Love, Grandma
