Lizzie at the Montgomery match.  She played well, with a hurt ankle.  Unfortunately Homewood Lady Freedom lost 2-1, and Saturday lost 8-1 to Auburn. This weekend we have the Hoover Havoc tournament in Riverchase.  First game is Friday night at 6PM.  Saturday we play at 11:45AM.

Way to go! Lizzie was coughing a lot this morning, but fought through the illness to play a great game. She helped her team beat their toughest competition so far 3-1. Go Lady Freedom!

Lizzie is on a 3 v 3 soccer team that plays this weekend. We will play at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. with the final at 4:30 p.m. All games will be at the Homewood Soccer Fields.

Susan and Lizzie ran today’s Mercedes Half Marathon. I’m so proud of my girls. They finished in 2:47:49 or so. Lizzie beat her mom by one second. See below for a picture of the Ward team near the finish. I had the Valentines Krispy Kremes ready at the finish line as is our custom. Next [...]

After winning the Semi Finals game 4-0 the Lady Freedom fought hard against the Huntsville team in the Finals. The game tied 1-1 early and Lizzie made another great goal to bring her team ahead 2-1.
